1. What is my evidence?

During our June IBL day, my team collaborated and explored our GTMJ's for our Inquiry Based Unit. We used current documents for the Australian Curriculum and the alignment checker to determine if our GTMJ's were true to the curriculum. 



2. At which career stage am I demonstrating the standard? 

I believe I am demonstrating this standard at the Highly Accomplished stageInitiate and engage in professional discussions with colleagues in a range of forums to evaluate practice directed at improving professional knowledge and practice, and the educational outcomes of students


3. How does the evidence demonstrate the standard


In designing our GTMJ for the Bushfire unit, we originally used the elaborations to guide and create our specific tasks. However, upon reflection and discussion with our group during the June IBL day, we have modified our GTMJ for our Bushfire unit. The following illustration highlights the processes we discussed, which in turn led to the following aligned GTMJ.

  1. Chris, it is clear that you've engaged deeply with your colleagues via this program. BTW, when you refer to your original use of 'elaborations', do you mean those from the Australian Curriculum? It would be great to talk with you further about this.
